Tips to Strengthen Your Immune System

Studies show stress can weaken your body's defense system. Avoid it when you can. Make it a point to unwind and do things you enjoy.

Look on The Bright side of Everything:
When you think good thoughts, your body’s defenses work better. Want to stay in your happy place? Savor the things you enjoy. Think positive  even in tough times .

Laughing Is Good For Health :
One study found that after people laughed out loud at funny videos, their immune systems worked better.

Eat The Rainbow:

Colorful fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants. These nutrients guard against free radicals, molecules that can harm your cells. To get a wide range, go for oranges, green peppers, broccoli, kiwi, strawberries, carrots, watermelon, papaya, leafy greens, and cantaloupe.

Think About Herbs  And Natural Supplements :
Echinacea, Tulsi,Ginger,  Ginseng ,Aishwagandha,  can help to Boost  your immune system.

Try To Reduce Your Stress Levels :
Chronic stress suppresses the immune response of the body by releasing the hormone cortisol. Cortisol interferes with the T-cells(a specific white blood cell) to reproduce and receive signals from the body. Cortisol also reduces the antibody secretory IgA, which lines the gut and respiratory tract, which are our first line of defense against pathogens. To keep your stress in check, practice yoga, meditation or deep breathing in your regular routine.

Exercise Regularly :

Working out on a regular basis has been scientifically proven to boost the immune system. Regular exercise mobilises the T cells, a type of white blood cell which guards the body against infection. However, continuous rigorous workout weakens the immune system, leaving you prone to flu and viral infections.

Get Good  And Sound Night Sleep:
Without it, your immune system won’t have the strength it needs to fight off illness. Most adults need about 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night. To get better shut-eye, you need to stick to a regular bedtime schedule, stay active during the day, skip caffeine and booze near bedtime, keep the bedroom cool, and give yourself time to unwind at the end of the day.

Always Wash Your Hands:

Wash your hands  at least 20 seconds. If you don't have access to soap and water, a hand sanitizer can help . Choose sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
